From this strong belief, the Veganello project was born, a vegan wine produced ethically and responsibly, respecting the planet and all its creatures, a messenger of kindness and compassion, with a great pink nose.
The Veganello Project and the Nello Porcello Refuge
Veganello is dedicated to Antonello, the first piglet rescued from the Nello Porcello Sanctuary , a magical place where creatures of different species, animals and humans, coexist in harmony, united in the fight against all forms of discrimination. This wine is not only a tribute to Antonello's life, but also a small but important tool to support the shelter and its charitable mission.
The goal is clear: transforming wine into a messenger of vegan values, raising public awareness and promoting a model of ethical and responsible consumption. But not only that: Veganello also becomes a concrete fundraising tool to support the sanctuary's activities.
An innovative model of collaboration
The project involves supplying bottles of Veganello to the Nello Porcello Sanctuary on consignment, with no upfront payment required. The sanctuary will only return 50% of the revenues to InVinoVegan after each bottle is sold, while retaining the remaining 50% to support its activities. This risk-free system ensures the sanctuary receives tangible support, transforming every bottle sold into a meaningful act of solidarity.
The official presentation at the Chimera Veg Festival
The official launch of Veganello will take place during the Chimera Veg Festival , an unmissable event for lovers of the vegan world, which will be held in Brescia on 12 and 13 April 2025. At the InVinoVegan stall, it will be possible to taste Veganello for free, while bottles will be available for purchase at the Rifugio Nello Porcello booth.
